After a long wait we are thrilled to announce our latest Balance Update! This patch focuses on refining the gameplay experience, making it more enjoyable and accessible, without compromising the thrilling challenge. Here's what's new in version 1.0.0.1:

Gameplay Adjustments

• Shop Overhaul: We’ve revamped the shop’s interface for clarity and ease of use. Items are now arranged by priority, with the most essential enhancements occupying the top slots. Each item includes a brief description, ensuring that you make informed purchasing decisions.
• New Dash Ability: Introducing a purchasable dash ability! This upgrade provides a quick dodge maneuver for evading enemies and grants a speed boost so you won't need to build up momentum constantly. Mastering this new skill will be pivotal in your rescue missions.
• Level Time Increase: Each level now offers additional time, ensuring that saving Moscow's citizens is more about strategic speed than frantic pace.

Scoring and Rewards Tweaks

• Lap 2 and Ranking System: Lap 2 now serves its intended purpose as a skill showcase, rather than a necessity to complete the game. Instead of earning coins, you’ll receive a rank at each level's conclusion, leading to bonus coins based on your performance. This ranking system helps refine your skills without pressuring continuous coin collection.
• Future Currency Development: While Lap 2 currently gives a different type of currency than main game coins, we are developing exciting future uses for this new currency.

Bug Fixes and Animation Enhancements

• Rescue Area Bug Fixes: We’ve resolved several bugs regarding the rescue area mechanics, smoothing the process of saving citizens.
• Visual Flourishes: Alexander’s journey is now more engaging with a series of new animations. Look for his dynamic dash, varied running stages, and the amusing slip animation. Plus, enjoy the cinematic flair as Time Rift Napoleon dramatically tears into levels during Lap 2 with his own special entrance animation.
• Save File Security: No more anxiety about losing your progress. When Time Rift Napoleon catches you during Lap 2, your save files remain intact, making the challenge less punishing.
• Infinite Laps Quirk: We've temporarily added infinite laps, though this feature might be removed or refined based on future development plans.

Audio Improvements

• Soundtrack Updates: We've refreshed part of the game's soundtrack, enhancing your auditory adventure and immersing you further in the game's environment.
